sisterhood event [number decorating]

Last night, the fifteens got a little crafty. We arrived at the house to discover a fun surprise: numbers from our pledge mommies! "Oh my gosh, yours is SO cute!" we said to one another, admiring our moms' handiwork. There was a table full of stick-on letters, sparkles, pretty flowers, and more, so we could add a little more pizzazz to our gifts. While munching on animal crackers, we went from table to table, girl to girl, until everyone had signed each other's numbers.
The final product was the perfect dorm room decoration: an adorable set of numbers, covered with signatures from our pledge class. Too cute!

why we love chi o [the fifteens]

Chi Omega is one of the only places I feel like I actually belong! I feel so lucky to be apart of something so unique. I love that all of us are so different and I learn so much from you guys everyday! It is amazing how much we have all grown to care for eachother in these past few months! It is unlike any experience I have ever had! I can wholeheartedly say that this semester so far would have been so hard for me if I did not meet you guys. In just 3 months Chi Omega has had a huge impact on my life and I cannot imagine what the future will bring! I feel so loved by all of you and there are no words to describe how much I care for each and every one of you.
-- Noelle Africh

Chi Omega is probably one of and will always be one of the best things that has ever happened to me. I know that I can trust everyone and just be myself with everyone. I can't explain it, but I feel like we all have that one thing that just brings us all so much closer together than any other group of people I have ever seen. ChiO truly is where I belong, and I am so thankful for everyone in this house. I know that these girls will change my life, for the better, forever- especially cause they've already had such a large impact on my life already. IloveChiO♥
-- Raquel Novak

What I love most about Chi Omega is that it is full of girls who are just like me. I am completely myself around Chi O's and I love every girl in our sorority. Chi Omega proves to me that it's possible to find genuine girls and create friendships that will truly last a lifetime. Joining Chi Omega was one of the best decisions in my life and I am so grateful to have met such wonderful people.
-- Melissa Radek

chi omega is seriously the greatest thing that has ever happened to me. I was really unsure if I was going to rush or not. all my friends from home and family hadn't heard anything about sororities except for the bad stereotypes from movies. chi omega to me is proving all those stereotypes wrong. I don't feel pressure to be or do anything that I don't want. I have made the most genuine friendships already, in such a short amount of time. I can't talk about it or any of the girls in it without smiling. I love chi omega and every single girl in it :))
-- Carly Zimmerman

Chi Omega is a place where I'm surrounded by people that genuinely care about me and each other. Its a connection thats inexplainable to those who have never experienced Chi O's.
-- Amy Nagle

I have wanted to be a ChiO my whole life because of my mom and sister and I grew up assuming that I would be one too. However when I came to school and went through rush trying to keep a completely open mind. It has been such a gift that I have my sister in the house with me and getting to share all of the traditions and experiences with both her and my mom, but I can truly say that I did not choose ChiO based off of that. I have loved every girl that I have met through this house and cant imagine not having gotten a bid from ChiO. My sister told me that one of the reason she wanted me to be a ChiO with her was because she knew I would never have to change a single thing about me to fit in and she was right. Everyone is so accepting and caring and thats what makes it such an amazing thing to be a part of. I cant imagine college or the rest of my life without it.
-- Mel Golden

I love chi o because it is genuine. Chi omega is a place where when someone says go for it and be yourself they mean it. It is a place where when people say they care for you they mean it. There is effortless trust that comes with being with the girls that I never would have imagined. I love it.
-- Kathleen Kallal

Chi Omega are the sisters I never had. I always wanted a sister and now I have soo many and I love each and every one of you so much. Chi Omega has given me a sign of hope when I thought I would never have a best friend. But I'm so glad that I now have each and everyone of you to call my sisters and best friends. :)
-- Julia Krueger

I love chi omega because it is a place where I can be myself and I know that every girl is there for me like I am there for them in any situation, no matter what.
-- Erica Williams

chi omega is home. thats the only way to say it. its the only place i want to be when i need someone to vent to, when i need to cry, and especially when i want to laugh and feel loved. they're the girls that filled the place in my life that i never knew was missing until i met them.
-- Hannah Zupec

i never feel pressured to be someone I'm not when I'm around the chi o's. even around the older girls, i can totally be myself and its okay!
-- Allie Wroble

Chi Omega is my home away from home and my second family. I know I'll always be welcome when I'm with Chi O's :)
-- Kaitlin Martiny

Chi O is a place where I find it easy to be my true, weird self and still feel loved, without feeling judged. I don't know where else you can find a group of such wonderful girls who you know will always have your back and be there for you, no matter what. :) And that's a statement, not a matter of opinion. ;)
-- Casey Baker

Everyone tells each other "I love you soooo much!" Even if they barely know them, but the thing is that there is something so genuine about the women in chi omega that it is only appropriate to love our sisters on principle. Then after just a little awhile these initial shout outs are accompanied with fantastic memories and inside jokes. And I have never been any other place that has felt more like home than our Chi Omega house :)
-- Rachel Williamson

And Chi O are sisters that I never would have realized but couldn't be more thankful that I did because I have made real best friends.
-- Morgan Sherlock

the warm feeling i get whenever i spot a chi o on the quad. the happiness that washes over me when i step into the house. and the comfort i get from being surrounded by girls who are so understanding and accepting. that's what i love most about chi omega.

currently obsessed [glitter bunting]

Glitter isn't only for New Year's Eve - It's for beautiful buntings, too! I stumbled upon this glittery Chi O banner on Etsy a few weeks ago. Adorable, right? This would be the perfect way to add a little sorority sparkle to your room.
You can order one online by clicking the link above. Or, if you're feeling crafty, pick up some decorative paper from Hobby Lobby + make your own!
